According to the Labour Bureau of India the All India consumer Price Index for July 2017 is 285 Points.
In June it was 280 Points.
Even if it remains at 285 points in August (it will be announced on 29th September only, 30th being Saturday), the IDA from October 2017 will be 124.3%.
It is confirmed that the price of many essential commodities is increasing, the tall claims of Finance Minister notwithstanding.
