IDA increase of 2.6% from April 2019

All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers - AICPI (IW) FOR FEBRUARY 2019 remained stationary and stood at 307.

Therefore We are entitled for 2.6 % IDA increase from 01-04-2019.

Total IDA will be 141.4%

CBMPA MEMBERS MEET DOP&PW OFFICERS

Today (26-03-2019) CBMPA members Coms M.K.Bagchi, Anupam Kaul and S.S.Nanda met Officers in Pension Department and enquired about the position on PENSION REVISION.

They were informed that the DOT has not yet replied to their communication dt 14-01-2019. Further they were informed that another letter was sent to DOT on 08-03-2019 in which they have once again asked for reply to their communication dated 14-01-2019. In addition they have attached our letter dt 12-02-2019 addressed to Secretary, DOP&PW and sought comments of DOT on that. The copy of that letter was endorsed to Convenor, CBMPA. The same is exhibited below. Our leaders in Delhi will take follow up action in Sanchar Bhavan .

Totally wrong analysis.
 first of all, govt is not giving bsnl 850 cr as you mentioned. 
bsnl is raising 850 cr from its own revenue streams upto 20 th march and same will be paid to empoyees as salary. 
so, check the facts before writing. 
govt has not infused any money in bsnl since its inception. till today, govt has not paid single rupee to bsnl to run its operations. so your contention of good money chasing bad money is totally incorrect. you must be knowing that all private telcos are making huge losses due tp predatory pricing of jio and bsnl is no exception. however all these private companies have taken a loan of 5 lakh crores from banks which they will never be able to pay back. what do you say about that? in india, it is crony capitalism at work and everything including media is managed by them. bsnl gives employment to around 10 lakh people directly or indirectly. when the employment generation is at its lowest in last 45 years, is it prudent to close public sectors and further increase it? dont do one sided analysis. bsnl is a victim of the policies deliberately tweaked to favour private players. so next time get your facts right.

OUR TWO CASES IN CAT ERNAKULAM

We had filed two cases before Honourable Ernakulam bench of CAT.

All BSNL pensioners retired before 2006 also should get their pension refixed at 50% of Last Pay Drawn at par with other central government pensioners; Case No 346/18.

For getting the arrears on account of 78.2% IDR from       1-1-2007 itself, not from 10-6-2013. Case Number 338/18

The first case was listed for 27-2-2019 but not taken up for hearing.  Respondents had filed their counter.  Next date will be known shortly.

The second case was listed for 28-2-2019.  Respondents have not yet filed counter.  They pleaded for further time.  As a last chance two weeks time is granted to respondents for filing their counter affidavits.
