Pay Anomaly convention of BSNL pensioners of Southern Region is to be conducted by Tamil Nadu Circle Branch. Deliberations and plan of action will be charted out with inputs from the affected pensioners.

Our Dist Vice President Sri A.S.SYED ALI expired on 05-02-2015 evening.As a veteran Trade Union Leader served as Circle Secy of Line Staff & Class IV and has contributed an invaluable service and guidance to our District Branch.
On behalf of all members of our District Branch we convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Our persisting and pending problems were discussed and the status
is as below......
1.PAY ANOMALY CASE The information sought by
DOPP&PW from DOT is yet to be supplied DOT wrote to BSNL for
furnishing the required information' DOT has sent a reminder to
BSNL on 19-01-2015 ' BSNL is yet to sent the
information to DOT which in turn will send it to DOPP&PW. then only a final decision will be taken.
2.IDA of 78.2% MERGER CASE DOPP&PW has conveyed its
NO OBJECTION to DOT for this merger during the 25th meeting of
SCOVA.The Dept of Expenditure has also and already sent its views and comments
to DOT on 25-10-2014. The Cabinet Note is prepared
by DOT and pending for approval of Hon MOC.
The important
development is that The Joint Secretary, Dept of PP&PW has
assured that the problems of Pay Anomaly and Merger of 78.2 % IDA
will be resolved with in a month.This is the first time the Hon Minster Of State who chaired the 26th SCOVA meeting has insisted for a
timeline and lets us hope for an earlier resolution.
