78.2%: FILE MOVING....
The DoE has directed DoT to seek fresh approval from Cabinet to extend the benefit of 78.2% IDA to the BSNL retirees. Cabinet Note has to be prepared for
getting the Cabinet approval.
It is understood that the File has been put up to Secretary, Telecom.
Today or tomorrow the Secretary may sign the File
and then the Estt section in Sanchar Bhavan will prepare the Cabinet Note.
Next stage is to take consent from the nodal departments.
It may take one month or little more than that.
Then, the Note containing the proposals will go to Cabinet.
We are happy that the File started moving in Sanchar Bhavan.
