The 11th Madurai District Annual Conference held on 23-05-2014-From Secy Desk

The 11th Madurai District Annual Conference held on 23-05-2014 under presidentship of Sri.M.Raveendran, District President. The conference started with flag hoist, the National Flag by Sri. M.Raveendran , President and our Association  flag by Sri. D,Gopalakrishnan, Asian Secretary, TUI P&R. The prayer song by Smt. G.Kalyani. Then two minutes silence was observed to pay homage to departed souls. Welcome address by Sri. T.Chinnasamy,  Convenor of the Conference. The Annual report submitted by Sri. G.R.Dharmarajan, Dist. Secretary, and Statement of account submitted by Sri.V. Janarthanan,Dist, Treasurer.  Sri.S.Arunachalam D/S, Tirunelveli ,Sri.E.Kanagaraj, Dist. President, Tirunelveli, and local TU Dist.Secretaries  greeted our conference. Smt, S.E.Rajam, G.M., BSNL, Madurai participated as special guest and gave special address.  Sri.V,Ramanarayanan, AIFPA, addressed and greeted. Sri.V.Ramarao, T.N. Circle Seretary, wished and gave special address about our circle function. Sri. D.Gopalakrishnan, Asian Secretary, TUI (P&R), gave wonderful speech about all pensioners in the world and explained our memorandum  submitted to 7th CPC regarding BSNL Pensioners.  After lunch conducted our subject committee meeting in which  the annual report and accounts were passed and the resolutions also passed.  The new  office bearers election  conducted by Sri. V.Ramarao, C/S. Sri.M.Raveendran, Sri.G.R.Dharmarajan, Sri. V.Janarthanan  are elected as President, Secretary, Treasurer  and other office bearers also elected unanimousely.  With vote of thanks by Sri.S.Sundaresan, Asst.Secy., the conference came to end.
